Dr. Zarrabi’s practice is a unique combination of art, science and cutting edge technology.

Dr. Zarrabi is a Board Certified Maxillofacial Surgeon and Diplomate of American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also an accomplished Sculptor Artist and he has created masterpieces for collections nationally and around the world.

Dr. Zarrabi completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program and received his specialty training certificate from prestigious LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. It is where he also completed his Medical Education and received his M.D. degree and completed his General Surgery training.

Prior his medical education, Dr. Zarrabi graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in New York and received his D.D.S. degree. He graduated in top of his class and inducted to highly selective and prestigious academic excellence society of OKU.

Dr. Zarrabi’s Published Works

Dr. Zarrabi is a contributor to the academic and scientific literatures. He participated and conducted multiple researches, landmark surgeries and case studies.

Dr. Zarrabi is the co-author of the Rhinoplasty Chapter in a major Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery reference book that serves for training of other surgeons and residents; “Atlas of Operative Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery” (March 2015, Wiley-Blackwell). This book is an innovative, multidisciplinary, contemporary surgical atlas covering core aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck reconstructive surgery and facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Zarrabi participated in treatment planning and conducting multiple landmark reconstructive and cosmetic surgery cases, with main focus on development of surgical techniques to reconstruct sever maxillo-facial defects and deformities.

The culmination of his scientific and academic efforts lead to a ground breaking surgery and new approach for complete nose reconstruction which has been published as: “A Novel approach in Total Nasal Reconstruction” (in prestigious Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Elsevier 2019)

Dr. Zarrabi is currently serving as Clinical Instructor of Surgery at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA and Gratis Assistant Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans LA. Also, he is a Staff Surgeon at Hoag Hospitals Newport Beach and Irvine, CA.
